Veritas vos liberabit

Veritas vos liberabit

(“the truth shall set you free”)

April 9, 2013 is the day the Philippines celebrate the fall of Bataan or otherwise known today as Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor. Though this post is not going to be a history lesson, I just felt that I needed to recognize the holiday even though we were not there to witness or undergo the event. For many veterans of war, today, I commemorate your duty to our nation and thank you for your dedication for the people.

Also, on a lighter note, today is something that I wish to also mark as a special time in my life. Over the past few months, I have constantly debated about it and finally, I’ve come to the conclusion. Let the truth set me free.

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

A little about me.

Hello there! My name is Cymbelline Ong. I’m a twenty-something marketing professional living on a beautiful island in the Philippines called Cebu. This blog is created out of sheer curiosity to try new things in life and simply, another pastime that I hope to enjoy doing. In this blog, I hope to share everything I love doing. I love to eat, cook, laugh, dance, sleep, read, write, draw/paint, design, play, travel and I’m pretty sure there’s too many things I’ve already mentioned 😛 Anyway, I can’t wait to get started! For now, meet my favorite cat in the world: PUSHEEN.
